our journey
2021
Our story started with our mom, Sarah,
and our aunt, Kate, who first joined forces and founded Stellar Consulting.
Between them, they brought decades of experience,
a whole lot of creativity, and plenty of lessons they’ve passed down to us along the way. We’re so lucky to have learnt from them and to now carry a little piece of that story forward in our own way.
2024
After a year of working alongside our mom and aunt, Em and I took over the business in 2024. It was a big leap, but with our gran by our side to help us find our feet in the beginning, we kept moving forward and figuring things out as we went.
We’re still learning every day, but we’re loving the journey and feel very lucky to be building something of our own together. We’re all about keeping things real, building genuine relationships, and making sure anyone who works with us feels comfortable enough to just be themselves.
2025
We rebranded to Nanna & Nee. It’s a name that’s always been special to us. It’s what we called each other growing up, so it felt like the perfect name for we’re building together.
We’re a team in every sense of the word. We bounce ideas off each other, support each other through the tricky bits, and celebrate the good stuff together. We love the people we get to work with and the relationships we build along the way, and we’re so excited to see where this next chapter takes us.

When we took over, Em and I were running the studio from our parents’ lounge. Cosy? Absolutely. Ideal for all our creative chaos? Not quite.
So, naturally, we decided to tackle the old shed.
It was full of kak, the walls were rotten,
and neither of us had ever touched a
power tool before. Two weeks later,
we’d cleared it out, replaced walls,
moved windows, added new ones,
and even put in doors.
A year later, we destroyed the office
we’d just spent all that time making to
make space for our new office.
We’re SO grateful for how much Nanna & Nee has grown already, and we’re excited to see where it takes us next. Here’s to growing, creating and probably
destroying a few more walls along the way.
